Dream About the old man throwing stones at her

A to Z of Dream meaning

CASE STUDY: Today's Dream Interpretation was sent by Janice about the old man throwing stones at her and about the word "obligation".

Dear Yod HVH,

What does it mean when I dreamed that "an old man threw a stone at me because he thought I was the one who scattered the mango leaves?" Because he had just finished sweeping, he got angry when he saw a mango leaf. So he threw stones at me twice. I told him, that it was not me who scattered but also an old man."

My other dream is like this. "I was at school, then the paper was passed where the names of our classmates were written. And they say that they will write what you can say to the name that you will draw. The name that came to me was the name of my classmate "Yoen", it is the name of my male classmate. Then I wrote that its meaning is "obligation" because that's what I described in his personality.

Your first and second dreams are almost "related", but before we discuss the relationship of your dreams, let's take a look at an important note in the Bible, where, there is a scene in the New Testament where a woman tried to throw stones, but the stoning did not go through.

John 8:1-11 reads like this:

 The Woman Committing Adultery

Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. 2 At dawn, he again went to the temple. All the people came to him. He sat down and taught them. 3 The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought to him a woman who had been caught in adultery. He was placed in the middle. 4 They said to him: Master, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. 5 Moses commanded us in the law to stone such a one. What can you say? 6 They said this to test him when they had something to accuse him of Jesus bent down, wrote on the ground with his finger. 7 As they continued to question him, he stood up. He said to them: He who is without sin among you should be the first to throw a stone at him. 8 He bowed again and wrote on the ground.

9 Those who heard this were rebuked by their consciences. Because of this, they went out one by one, starting with the oldest and ending with the last. Jesus was left behind as well as the woman standing in the middle. 10 When Jesus got up he saw no one except the woman. Jesus said to her: Lady, where are your accusers? Has no one judged you?

11 He said: No, Lord.

Jesus said to him: Even I will not judge you. Go and sin no more.

In the said story above that we quoted from the Bible, we are not saying Janice that you are the adulterous woman, instead only one thing is clear in the said quote above, "the said woman would have been stoned because she sinned or made a mistake but was saved he is Jesus."

Your dream is almost like that, "the old man threw stones at you twice, because according to your unconscious self, you probably committed a sin or mistake at the moment but you don't admit it" that's why in your dream "you taught the real who scattered mango leaves, also an old man."

The floating of "two stones" and "two adults" in your dream is noteworthy, which means, "two years from now, an important event will occur in your life related to your family, love, belief or in your standing."

Meanwhile, the next thing you can ask is this: "Who or what are the old men appearing in my dream?"

Indeed, as the psychologist Carl Jung explains, the "old man" in the dream is an archetype, which represents the "wise old man" or "he himself is our old father" who guides us own how we should behave.

But this wise old man does not directly "teach or speak" how to behave or what we should do, but rather he guides us through dreams and he actually hides in our dreams as "an old man.”

It means that your unconscious self is reminding you through your dream "that by this time you should have matured" and that the weaknesses or "weakness of your personality" or "your negative traits" should be studied remove them one by one, so that when you mature you will become a perfect young woman, efficient, intelligent and good.

Where, the meaning of your second dream is almost the same "when you wrote the description or interpretation of the name Yoen of one of your male classmates, you wrote and described "obligation" not in your mind or by accident. ”

The word "obligation" is the most climax of your dream that tells and advises you like this: "currently regardless of your mistakes and shortcomings, you must come to your senses and change. Or is it not a challenge to you that in order for you to fully mature as an individual, you must not run away from your obligations in life, obligations at home, family, society or school, career or in the office or on your own, but face it with courage, effort and diligence (all your current obligations) and you will see when you do that, as a fully matured Janice, you can easily all your dreams and aspirations in life will be fulfilled, until you finally succeed and be happy forever."

Until again,

Yod H V H.

Your dream often announces what the future holds in a very personal to you.
